SCOTTISH chartered surveying firm Graham & Sibbald has acquired independent commercial property firm Seymour & Co.
The newly merged company will be formed next Monday (April 3) and will see Stirling-based Seymour & Co’s managing director Peter Seymour head up a newly created licensed trade and leisure agency department at Graham & Sibbald’s relocated Glasgow office in the city centre.
Seymour told SLTN that the newly merged company will have an overall team of over 200 staff and 25 partners, with access to “infinitely more resources”, which he said should give clients a “much better level of service”.
He added that the deal “feels very much like a natural fit”, and will “free up a lot of my time to allow me to be much more client-focused and productive”.
Calum Campbell, partner at Graham & Sibbald’s Glasgow office, said the merger “will springboard our licensed trade department on to new levels”.
