Lifestyle business offers scope for expansion
LICENSEES keen to snap up a lifestyle business in the Highlands might be interested in the Struy Inn near Inverness.
Marketed via property firm Seymour & Co, with a guide price of ÂŁ79,000 for the leasehold interest, the Struy Inn is located on the A831 to the south west of Beauly.
The Struy Inn would suit a chef or a couple looking for a lifestyle business.
It’s currently run as a restaurant with rooms by the owners, who operate the business with no other staff and trade the restaurant five days a week, offering one sitting per evening.
Peter Seymour of Seymour & Co said there is, therefore, scope for new owners to immediately increase sales by extending the service.
Internally, the property comprises a bar area, an 18-cover restaurant and two letting rooms; there’s also two-bedroom owner’s accommodation.
Outside, there’s an enclosed garden area and car park.
Peter Seymour described the Struy Inn as a “lifestyle business … located in an idyllic setting”.
“The Struy Inn is a delightful country restaurant with letting rooms,” he said.
“We believe this business would suit a chef to trade looking to extend the operating hours or a couple looking for a lifestyle business in a very picturesque area of Scotland.”
