Strong appetite for capital eatery

A RESTAURANT outlet in Edinburgh has recently changed hands following a deal brokered by Cornerstone Business Agents.

• New owners are said to have big plans.

The former Burger Meats Bun, situated on Forth Street, just off Broughton Street, was snapped up by what Cornerstone described as “an exciting London operator”; the buyer is said to have plans for a full-scale redevelopment of the site and intends to start trading in the new year.
Offers of £125,000 were sought for the lease of the site, but the final sale price was not disclosed.
The licensed market in Edinburgh is currently buoyant, according to Cornerstone, with high demand for properties from a variety of operators.
