Bartender Sean Cavanagh of Liquor Library in Edinburgh won the Scottish heat of the Jefferson’s Barrel Aged Cocktail Competition 2016. His Jefferson’s Independent cocktail featured Jefferson’s Small Batch Bourbon, sake, Bénédictine, Angostura and Peychaud’s bitters, and spiced cardamom flavours. The glass was wrapped in one dollar notes and garnished with maple caramelised bacon.
