ON-trade customers and operators are to be given the chance to pick up a number of prizes this festive season as part of a Christmas campaign for soft drinks brand J2O.
The Golden Straw activity will see consumers offered a special straw when purchasing a J2O or J2O Spritz product with the chance to win an instant free drink if a golden straw is unwrapped. Codes printed on the inside of the straw wrapper allow consumers to enter an online competition to win a grand prize of ÂŁ10,000 and offer a chance for the participating outlet to win ÂŁ5000.
Venues participating in the competition will be provided with a point of sale kit including drip mats and A3 posters.
Russel Kirkham of Britvic Soft Drinks, the firm behind J2O, said Christmas represents a “key sales period” for the brand.
“With this consumer activation we’re helping our customers drive even bigger festive sales in-outlet with this fun and engaging competition,” said Kirkham.
“Not only will consumers enjoy taking part and winning free drinks, but there’s also a chance for our customers to win £5000 for their outlet too.”
