AYR-based bartender Ross Frame is headed to Italy after picking up the top spot at the Keglevich #RepubliKeg competition final held in the Lighthouse in Glasgow this month.
Ross, of Harleys Bar and Fury’s Nightclub in Ayr, scooped the top spot with his Harleys Halloween cocktail – a mix of Apple Keglevich, Orange Keglevich, grenadine and Angostura bitters.
In addition to a trip to Italy Ross will attend the SLTN Awards as a guest of Keglevich along with other competition finalists.
Competition judge Steve Howard of Keglevich parent firm Stock Spirits said all seven finalists produced “fabulous cocktails”.
