Prospective buyers seeking a business with a bit of diversity may find what they’re looking for in Dumfries where a premises with multiple income streams is up for sale.
Property firm Seymour & Clink is marketing the freehold of The Liquid Lounge and Truffles Bistro with a price tag of offers in the region of £260,000.
The outlet is said to have undergone a complete refurb in 2012.
The Liquid Lounge operates as a lunchtime diner, and, at weekends, trades as a cocktail and wine bar.
Truffles Bistro, meanwhile, is a 50-cover dining venue which currently only trades in the evenings and at weekends.
Both units are serviced by the same “well-equipped” kitchen and accessed via separate entrances.
The outlet is said to have undergone a complete refurbishment in 2012 and selling agent Seymour & Clink claims the business has seen year-on-year growth since it was picked up by the current owners four years ago.
Peter Seymour of Seymour & Clink said the property represents an “excellent opportunity for a chef or husband and wife team to take on a growing business and develop it further, by perhaps extending the trading hours or opening on a Sunday”.
