The Caley Sample Room in Edinburgh has been sold in a deal brokered by licensed property agents Cornerstone.
The bar majors in “eclectic beers” and is said to attract a mixed clientele of regulars and tourists.
Following what was described as a “short marketing process resulting in significant interest”, the pub was sold to its new owners, who are said to be experienced operators in the trade “who are looking forward to running this well-loved Edinburgh institution”.
Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone who handled the sale, said the Caley Sample Room is “always popular on match days” and over the last ten years has developed “an excellent name for food”.
The bar was sold for an undisclosed sum.
