Take on a Fife pub with some Heritage

THE owners of a Fife pub are looking to sell the property and retire after four decades in the licensed trade.

Bill and Dixie Forbes have owned the Heritage Bar in Kirkcaldy for 18 years, having previously owned and operated a number of other premises in the area.

Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone, who is marketing the Heritage Bar, said: “I am sure Bill and Dixie won’t mind me commenting that they are both beyond standard pension age but enjoy running the business far too much. However, the arrival of their first great-grandchild as well as a desire for more Mediterranean sun means retirement has to beckon.”

Cornerstone is marketing the freehold of the Heritage Bar at a guide price of £195,000.
