A new hotel has opened in the Lanarkshire town of Bellshill following a root and branch refurbishment.
Pub group Bozzco Inns has launched the Belmill Hotel in the former Chaplin’s Bar on Hamilton Road after the £950,000 revamp.
The new-look bar area features floor-to-ceiling windows and a handmade bar and gantry, while the dining area features “warm, soft furnishings in blues, browns and reds”; a new kitchen and outdoor area were added as part of the project. Attention is now focused on the four en suite bedrooms, which will be ready at the end of this month.
Owners Frank Cogan and Martin Mackay, whose Bozzco Inns portfolio includes the Stewart Inn in Stepps, The Cellar Bar in Airdrie and The Derby Inn in Bellshill, said this is an “exciting time” for their business. “Since the day we opened our doors we have been delighted with the response from customers and look forward to welcoming many more,” said Cogan.
