TWO Scottish beer firms have announced plans to strengthen their presence in the United States.
Innis & Gunn has announced a new partnership with United States Beverage to export its craft beers to America, while Inveralmond has signed a deal with Iron Horse Beverage.
Dougal Sharp, founder of Innis & Gunn, said the new partnership with United States Beverage – a premium imported and craft beer sales and marketing company located in Connecticut – is crucial to his company’s growth in America.
“The team at US Beverage have an exceptional track record in building brands and we are thrilled to be working with them”, he said.
Justin Fisch, vice president of United States Beverage, said the two firms “share like aspirations”.
Meanwhile, US-based Iron Horse has been appointed to import Inveralmond’s beers to the States.
The deal will see Iron Horse import Inveralmond’s Rascal London Porter beer initially, and the company’s De Mons and Sunburst beers in the coming months.
All three beers are part of Inveralmond’s Inspiration Series, a range of beers inspired by brewing styles from around the world.
