The firm has selected six casks from across Scotland with ages ranging from 13 to 25 years old.
The single cask range comprises: Sizzling Charcoal, a 1997 cask from Bunnahabhain Distillery, Islay; Coastal Confection, a cask strength 1996 single cask from Bowmore Distillery, Islay; The Highland Mariner, a 1997 single cask from Clynelish Distillery in the Highlands; Fallen Apples, a 1989 single cask from Craigellachie Distillery, Speyside; and Toasted Anise, a 1996 single cask from Glenrothes Distillery, Speyside.
William Wemyss, founder and managing director of Wemyss Malts, said that with the first 2016 release, the bottler has “selected some fantastic whiskies which exemplify the quality of the casks we source for our single cask bottlings”.
“They offer a unique snapshot of Scotland’s distilleries and I’m sure our customers will be delighted with the selection,” said Wemyss.
