Mixologists are being invited to create a new Champagne and Cognac cocktail as part of a global bartender contest.
Organised by Cognac house Courvoisier, part of Maxxium UK’s portfolio, the competition is inviting bartenders to create a new twist on the classic Champagne cocktail using Courvoisier and explaining how their recipe was inspired by the Paris Golden Age – which influenced Courvoisier’s latest campaign.
Masterclasses – including in Edinburgh (March 8) and Glasgow (March 15) – will be held before the competition closing date of March 25. The global final will be held in Paris, with the winner receiving an 1889 blend of Courvoisier, a trip to the Courvoisier Chateau in France and a meeting with the brand’s master blender.
