Drinks marketing and distribution firm Hi-Spirits has bolstered its gin portfolio by reaching an agreement to supply Brooklyn Gin to the UK on and off-trades.
Produced in New York, Brookyln Gin is said to be created using “artisinal methods” with ingredients including hand-cut citrus peels, hand-cracked juniper berries and spirit produced from corn grown in upstate New York.
Dan Bolton, managing director of Hi-Spirits, said Brooklyn Gin is a “wonderful addition” to the firm’s portfolio.
“Gin has been through an astonishing renaissance over the past few years,” said Bolton.
“Consumers love classic serves such as the gin and tonic, Martini and Negroni, as well as the innovative new serves continually being developed by mixologists.”
Brooklyn Gin co-founder Emil Jättne said the distillery team is excited to launch Brooklyn Gin in the UK.
“[The UK is] a place that is distinctive in its longstanding love of gin, and is the home of exceptional establishments and hospitality,” said Jättne, who founded the brand in 2010 with Joe Santos.
“We look forward to working with Hi-Spirits to bring our one-of-a kind gin to the fast growing group of craft spirit connoisseurs.”
