A North Lanarkshire brewery which uses honey as a key ingredient in its beer has launched a campaign to raise funds to help protect bees.
Beehive Brae’s Kickstarter campaign aims to raise awareness of dwindling honeybee numbers, as well as to restore millions more bees to the environment.
Mark McDavid, chair of the company, said Beehive Brae is “truly a pint with purpose”. “This is about not only supporting bees, but small British businesses, British beer and British workers,” he said.
