Scottish produce in spotlight

More than 500 hospitality industry professionals gathered in Edinburgh recently when foodservice specialist Bidvest hosted its Taste of Winter event.

The show, which was designed to showcase local produce, featured products from 35 different Scottish firms.
“We’re delighted that the Taste of Winter event was so well attended,” said Bidvest head of business development, John Forteith.
“The Scottish food and drink industry is thriving and we have formed strong relationships with over 100 Scottish suppliers to promote their branded products to our customer base throughout Scotland.”
