A Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond is up for sale after more than two decades of family ownership.
The 47-bedroom Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel has an AA Rosette restaurant, conference facilities for 250 delegates and a spa facility with 16m swimming pool.
The hotel has been in family ownership since 1991 and is said to occupy “a coveted location with panoramic loch and mountain views”.
It also holds a civil wedding licence, which allows outdoor wedding ceremonies at its waterfront garden, jetty or hotel beach.
The hotel is said to have a strong clientele and to earn a “significant income” from its function and wedding offer.
Sellers Smith & Clough Business Associates said the sale provides an opportunity to acquire a luxury hotel within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
The beach and jetty are available for long lease.
The agency said there is an opportunity for investors or operators to grow turnover by increasing room rates and additional capital expenditure.
The hotel is being offered for sale by private treaty and offers are invited for the freehold of the property and business as a going concern.
Graeme Smith, director of
Smith & Clough Business Associates, said: “Hotels on the banks of the loch simply don’t come to the market and the existing offer, coupled with the potential for future turnover growth, will ensure strong levels of investor interest.”
