A meeting and events coordinator at a Dundee hotel has been named Scotland’s Modern Apprentice of the Year.
Laura Burdin, who works at DoubleTree by Hilton Dundee, picked up the award at Scotland’s Modern Apprenticeship Awards, held in Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms. Burdin also won the Higher Level Apprentice of the Year at the awards, which were delivered by Skills Development Scotland (SDS).
Richard Ellison, GM at the Dundee hotel, said staff are “extremely proud to see one of our own team members pick up such a notable accolade”.
