Superman swapped the Fortress of Solitude for The Butchershop Bar & Grill over the weekend (September 26&27) as the Glasgow venue invited attendees of MCM Comic Con to celebrate with a steak dinner.
A discount deal on steak and wine was offered to diners who visited the venue dressed as their favourite comic character.
Guests were offered a “Flintstone-esque” bone-in-rib steak with four sides and a bottle of wine for £70 per couple.
The superhero event coincided with the venue’s ongoing fundraising initiative, which sees a discretionary £1 per table added to guests’ bills for the STV Appeal to tackle child poverty in Scotland.
The fundraising activity will run until October 16 and Butchershop owners James and Louise Rusk have pledged to match the total raised.
