Chefs from St Andrews will join forces next month to promote the town’s culinary credentials.
The fourth annual St Andrews Food & Drink Festival is fronted by six of St Andrews’ most prominent chefs.
Alan Matthew of the Fairmont St Andrews, Geoff Smeddle of the Peat Inn, Ian MacDonald of The Links Trust, Susan Pieraccini of Rocca, Stewart Macaulay of The Adamson and Martin Hollis of the Old Course Hotel will all lead the month-long calendar of events.
The festival kicks off on November 1 with an indoor street market at the Old Course Hotel.
The six organisers have invited chefs from other restaurants in and around St Andrews to take part, and each will host their own market stall featuring local produce and ingredients.
A dinner on November 20 will include courses prepared by each of the six organiser chefs.
