Facelift for the flavour range

Bottles brought in line ahead of more sport event sponsorships

AG Barr has redesigned the packaging for its Strathmore Twist flavoured waters as it looks to bring the flavoured variants in line with the brand’s still and sparkling waters.

The new packaging has been rolled out for all four flavours: Blackberry and Strawberry, Raspberry and Apple, Orange and Peach, and Lemon and Lime, all of which are available in both still and sparkling formats.
The new bottle design was first rolled out for Strathmore still and sparkling in the run up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, for which Strathmore was the official water brand.
The packaging revamp comes
ahead of two further sports sponsorships for the brand in the coming months.
Strathmore will support the World Gymnastics Championships, which is being held in Glasgow from October 23 to November 1, is expected to attract more than 40,000 spectators and will receive national TV coverage on the BBC; the brand will also provide support for the Scottish Swimming National Short Course Championships, running from December 11 to 13.
The sponsorship activity forms part of Strathmore’s ‘Do More’ campaign.
Adrian Troy, head of marketing at AG Barr, said the campaign “is about inspiring people to get out there and be active”.
“With consumer interest in sport at a high and our sporting event sponsorships raising awareness of the brand, demand for Strathmore has never been stronger,” said Troy.
