Scottish food and drink will take centre stage at a special industry event at Gleneagles later this year.

Buyers from across the UK and beyond have been invited to Showcasing Scotland, which takes place between October 6 and 9 at the Perthshire resort.
The event will give buyers, including those from wholesalers and the tourism industry, the chance to speak to more than 100 Scottish food and drink producers and forge links with new suppliers.
A Scotland Food & Drink partnership event, Showcasing Scotland is designed to “highlight the top quality producers that help give Scotland its reputation as a land of food and drink and grow sales of Scottish food and drink”.
“With provenance becoming of increasing importance to consumers, I’d encourage buyers to register for the opportunity to meet a wide range of relevant Scottish food and drink producers as well as learning more about what our industry has to offer,” said James Withers, chief executive of Scotland Food & Drink.
