Tontine Lane in Glasgow’s Merchant City has been transformed to replicate a Belgian cafe bar for 16 nights to promote Pils lager brand Heverlee.
Opening last Friday (July 17) the pop-up bar has been designed to replicate the bars of Heverlee’s home-town of Leuven – serving up Belgian beer and bar food.
Events scheduled for the duration of the pop-up include beer workshops, DJ sets and live mural painting.
Joris Brams, the Leuven-born brewer behind Heverlee and executive for parent firm C&C Group, said he “wanted to bring more authentic Belgian experiences to the country”.
