NB Vodka, based in North Berwick, was served up to tennis crowds at this year’s Wimbledon Live event ahead of the famous tournament, which got underway on June 29 and runs until July 12.

The 40% ABV vodka, which was launched at the end of May, is said to have taken 18 months to develop.

NB Gin’s Vivienne Muir, who founded the company with husband Steve in their hometown of North Berwick in 2013, said the vodka uses “only British pure grain spirit and the best botanicals we can find”.

“What we’ve produced is totally new and we think that it will throw a curve-ball onto the vodka market in terms of its uniqueness,” said Muir.
