A Renfrewshire bar is up for sale for the first time in more than three decades.
Colliers Bar, which occupies a corner spot on Johnstone’s High Street, is on the market due to the current owners’ retiral.
The bar, which has been under the same family ownership for more than 30 years, is said to enjoy strong local trade.
The ground floor bar is furnished with traditional wooden tables, chairs and bar stools, while the lounge, on the upper tier, has a separate bar service area.
Selling agent Bruce & Co, which is marketing the property with a price tag of £250,000 for the freehold, said: “The business is easily managed and continues to see increased turnover year on year. Despite the impressive income, there is still further potential for growth by, for example, extending the hours, as food is served only between noon and 5pm.“
