Matthew Clark has responded to growth in the craft beer category by adding 40 new products to its Boutique Beers range, bringing the portfolio total to 135 craft beers and ales.
Launched last year, Matthew Clark’s Boutique Beers range comprises craft products from both the UK and the rest of the world available in draught, bottle and can formats.
To promote the extended range, the wholesaler has been showcasing the beers at events held in cities across the UK this summer, including Edinburgh, London and Liverpool.
Melissa Cole of Matthew Clark said that the craft beer market is “booming” as UK consumers are willing to “pay a little more” for craft products.
“This is a really exciting time for beer and I’m delighted to see Matthew Clark championing the category with this extensive offering of craft beers from all corners of the world,” said Cole.
