“The ‘Toyama’ serve is a great gin cocktail perfect for summer – mix Jinzu, dry vermouth and plum wine together with ice until chilled, then pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a discarded lemon zest.
“The delicate, complex taste of Jinzu and the smooth finish from the sake also makes it the ideal addition to classic cocktails such as the Martini.”

“Rock Rose Gin with toasted rosemary and Fever Tree Tonic.
“With the launch of Walter Gregor Tonic, it also makes a great Scottish gin and tonic.”

“I love Darnley’s View Spiced Gin with ginger ale and an orange garnish. It’s so refreshing and has genuinely surprised many people that I’ve poured it for at gin shows.”

“A French 75 is a classic favourite of mine. Alessandro Palazzi offers a fabulous recipe:
• 25ml No.3 gin
• 25ml lemon juice
• 10ml Monin gomme syrup
• Berrys’ United Kingdom Cuvee
• Grand Cru, Mailly
• 1 Grignotine cherry or lemon
“Mix the gin, lemon juice and syrup with a cocktail shaker. Pour the contents into a Champagne flute. Top up with Champagne. Add a grignotine cherry or a peel of lemon.”
