New beer is the berries

THE Loch Ness Brewery has joined forces with research centre the James Hutton Institute and a Fife berry farmer to create a blackberry beer.

Berry LochNESS is an 80/- beer produced from a blend of five malts and ‘Loch Ness blackberries’ supplied by farmer Robert Simpson.

Stephen Crossland of Loch Ness Brewery said the new brew “is one that will help win our beer new fans”.
