SCOTTISH soft drinks firm AG Barr has announced plans to spend £6 million marketing its Irn-Bru brand this year.
The activity, which includes two new TV commercials, will continue the brand’s established ‘Gets You Through’ campaign.
The new TV ads are due to debut this month and will run for three months.
Adrian Troy, head of marketing at AG Barr, said the Gets You Through campaign has been a “phenomenal success” for the brand, “driving consistent consumer awareness and demand and increasing sales”.
“The new commercials reflect the cheeky, maverick attitude for which Irn-Bru is well-loved and reinforce the message that whatever life throws at you, Irn-Bru Gets You Through,” said Troy.
