A PERTHSHIRE hotel with “spectacular” views of Loch Earn has been snapped up by a couple relocating from South Africa.
Bradley and Zelda Sol acquired Achray House Hotel in the village of St Fillans in a deal brokered by Colliers International.
The sale of the property, for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of £675,000, marks the retirement of former owners Alan and Jane Gibson.
The hotel has eight bedrooms, a conservatory restaurant, lounge bar, residents’ lounge and a decked terrace overlooking Loch Earn; there are also three adjacent lodge chalets.
The Sols have moved from South Africa to run the business; Bradley previously owned a guest house and leisure centre, while Zelda is a qualified chef.
Alistair Letham, director of selling agent Colliers International, said: “The Achray House Hotel, which trades on a seasonal basis, is a well-established and profitable family-run hotel.
“Its range of accommodation is a delightful lifestyle business, as well as an excellent home.
“New owners Brad and Zelda Sol are excited about the challenge of running the hotel business in this picturesque part of the north west Perthshire Highlands.”
