A LOCH-side hotel, spa and golf business in Royal Deeside has come onto the books of property agent Bruce & Co.
Set in 35 acres against a backdrop of the Cairngorms National Park, The Lodge on the Loch of Aboyne comprises 14 letting bedrooms, a health spa complete with sauna and steam bathing facilities as well as a Japanese deep-soak tub and monsoon shower, and conference and function facilities.
The Lodge also has a loch-side restaurant, which currently holds Eat Scotland accreditation, and a bistro bar. Outside, there’s a nine-hole golf course and driving range.
The property also has a two-bedroom owner’s flat, which is said to offer views of the loch from a private balcony.
Bruce & Co’s Safa Sultan, who is handling the sale, said the business benefits from an “admirable” location and an “esteemed” reputation for food.
“The business currently markets well through a variety of print advertising and its own informative website,” said Sultan.
“However, there is still potential for growth through simple modernisation of their current advertising and expansion within the wedding sector.”
Offers in the region of ÂŁ2.4 million are being sought for the freehold.
