• Brewer to pay ‘living wage’.

CRAFT brewer Brewdog has introduced a company-wide policy ensuring all UK employees receive the minimum ‘living wage’.

The policy will see wages rise to £7.65 per hour UK-wide and £8.80 in London. The national minimum wage for workers aged 21 and over is currently £6.50 an hour.
The ‘living wage’ is an hourly rate calculated by the Living Wage Foundation. The wage is said to be calculated according to the basic cost of living in the UK.
Brewdog is said to currently employ 314 staff in the UK across its brewing operation and 17 bars.
