THE Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has appointed Diego Requena as director of food and beverage.
Requena joins from his former position as GM and chief sommelier at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon on the Champs Elysees, Paris.
Kate Kustos also joins as director of sales. Kustos previously worked in hotels in Bali.
GM Dale MacPhee said the hotel will benefit from Requena and Kustos’ experience “working with luxury brands around the world” .
