THE firm behind Irish cider brand Magners is set to take new musicians to bars across the UK this summer as part of a new on-trade initiative.

The eight-date Magners Original Sessions tour kicks off in London on July 19 and will visit the Record Factory in Glasgow on August 16 and The Three Sisters in Edinburgh on August 30, with an August 2 Glasgow event to be confirmed as SLTN went to press.
The tour will be supported by online and social media marketing as well as promotional activity in UK cities in the coming weeks.
Ed Shoebridge, head of customer marketing at Magners, said: “Magners has always been synonymous with spontaneous summer fun and the Original Sessions summer tour brings our brand to life in an appropriate way for our fans.
“Taking some of the best new UK musicians and performers on a summer tour of the UK’s on-trade has taken some planning, but we know that the excitement and engagement we will generate in our customers and fans will make it all worthwhile.”
