THE firm behind coconut rum Koko Kanu is aiming to grow sales this summer on the back of what’s said to be the first national marketing campaign for the brand.
Spanning sampling, PR and marketing activity on social and consumer media, the campaign aims to attract consumers to the brand as well as to the flavoured rum category.
Pietro Mattioni, managing director at parent company J Wray & Nephew, said the campaign will “reach out to the trade and get consumers experimenting with the liquid”.
