GLASGOW private members’ club 29 is to host the launch of Moët Ice Imperial, said to be the world’s first Champagne with an ‘over ice’ suggested serve.

The Champagne will be launched on July 2 on 29’s Moët & Chandon roof terrace.
Michelle Mooney, head of events at 29, said the firm is “thrilled with our new-look Moët Ice Imperial bar”on the terrace.
“It’s the ideal inner city outdoor space for soaking up the rays and sipping on a glass of iced bubbly,” said Mooney.
“It’s an exciting year for Glasgow and 29 has teamed up with some of the coolest brands to provide unbeatable rooftop events in the heart of the city.”
Benoit Gouez, chef de cave at Moët & Chandon, said Moët Ice Imperial is “perfect for a casual celebration with friends on a warm, sunny day”.
The Moët launch follows the announcement that 29’s The Grill Room at the Square will be the “cultural and hospitality home” for Jamaica during the Commonwealth Games.
