CARLSBERG UK has recruited three famous faces for its new ‘Fan Squad’ TV ad.
Comedian Paddy McGuinness, former England footballer Ian Wright and Sky Sports pundit Jeff Stelling appear in the 30 and 60-second spots, attempting to perfect the experience of a group of football fans.
The ad is said to have been developed from market research into factors that “dampen the experience of watching football in a pub”.
Further support for the campaign includes an online competition with one TV to be won each day and the top prize of a trip to Wembley Stadium.
Carlsberg senior brand manager Dharmesh Rana said the firm “wants to make football even better for fans so we listened to them to find out how we could improve the experience” of watching games in the pub.
