TOURISM businesses in Edinburgh gathered last week to prepare for a summer when Scotland ‘welcomes the world’.
More than 60 organisations attended the Edinburgh Tourism Showcase on May 9 at the Assembly Rooms.
The event focused on the Commonwealth Games, Ryder Cup and Edinburgh Festival.
Robin Worsnop, chair of the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group, said the event aimed to help businesses “identify opportunities to collaborate and create new offers which attract additional visitors”.
