ONE of Scotland’s newest distilleries has produced a gin in honour of Scotland’s second Year of Homecoming celebration.

Homecoming Gin was created by Strathearn Distillery in Methven, Perthshire, which opened its doors last year.
The gin is being produced in small batches, with all bottling and corking carried out by hand.
“When we were asked to create a special gin we instantly thought of the quintessentially Scottish ingredients of thistle and heather,” said Strathearn director David Lang.
“After many late nights we came up with this delicious recipe that to top it off, tastes a little like sherbet dip, which many of us will remember from our childhoods in Scotland.”
