HALEWOOD International, the firm behind Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer, has toasted the success of two Hogmanay parties sponsored by the brand in Glasgow.

Crabbie’s was the headline sponsor of parties in the city’s Merchant Square and Ashton Lane areas.
Eight bars were involved in the Merchant Square event, which was attended by around 3000 revellers, while 4000 party-goers were said to have attended the event at Ashton Lane, which featured a fireworks display at the bells.
Ron Young, manager for Scotland and Ireland at Halewood International, said the Hogmanay activity was a “statement of intent” for the brand.
“There was a superb atmosphere at both events throughout the evening, and the sponsorship has allowed the Crabbie’s brand to gain substantial exposure throughout the Scottish on-trade market,” he said.
The Hogmanay parties form part of a larger promotional campaign which will see the Crabbie’s brand appear as the named sponsor at this year’s Grand National.
