EDINBURGH’S Caledonian Brewery has launched a new beer in memory of Scottish rugby union commentator Bill McLaren.
The 4.5% ABV strong pale ale features one of McLaren’s famous lines – “cunning as a bag of weasels” – on the label and is described as “classic style with a cunning balance of malt and hop characters and a local twist”.
A percentage from every bottle sold will go to the Bill McLaren Foundation.
