CAPTAIN Morgan Original Spiced Gold has been given a new-look to bring the UK packaging in line with the brand’s global image.
Parent firm Diageo launched a new bottle and pre-mix can design for the brand earlier this month. It comes two years after Morgan’s Spiced was rebranded Captain Morgan’s Spiced in the UK.
The new-look is being backed by a marketing campaign.
Sam Newby, marketing manager at Diageo, said: “It’s an exciting time for Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold as we begin to tell our epic tale and bring the legend to life with an impactful new livery and creative ad campaign.
“The distinctive bottle will still contain the same legendary liquid ‘spiced gold’ but reinforce brand identity with a fresh new look designed to capture the imagination of consumers.”
