THE owner of a Tobermory bar and restaurant aims to bring American service standards to the Isle of Mull by taking two of his staff on a trip to New York.
Neil Morrison is set to fly to the Big Apple today (October 31) with Mikey Macdonald and Steven Higson, who won a staff incentive at Macgochans.
Morrison told SLTN the initiative was designed around improving customer service and team work.
And he reckons the trip to the US will help raise standards further still in his venue. “It’s all very well me telling them about the standard of service in the States but I think it’s better if they witness it themselves,” he said.
