OPERATORS are being urged to play their part in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Under the banner ‘2014: Our Games, Our Welcome’, a promotional toolkit for tourism and hospitality businesses across Scotland has been launched.
Developed by Glasgow 2014, VisitScotland and Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, the toolkit includes logos and online banners designed to help businesses show their support for the Games and welcome visitors to next year’s event; the kit also features advice on wording for marketing materials and social media activity.
The Commonwealth Games toolkit was launched as 2014 Ryder Cup captains Paul McGinley and Tom Watson unveiled a specially-commissioned flagstone at Gleneagles railway station. The stone will be laid as part of station upgrades ahead of next year’s tournament.
