Part of its ongoing ‘Sparkle On’ partnership with singer Eliza Doolittle, the activity will give one consumer the chance to win an all-expenses-paid shopping trip to London with the singer songwriter for them and a friend.
Appletiser will also give away 100 shopping sprees worth £100 each as part of the campaign, which will run until the end of October.
Point of sale material, which encourages consumers to enter via Facebook by using on-pack QR (quick response) codes, will be distributed to pubs.
Phil Thomson, associate director of portfolio brands at Appletiser distributor Coca-Cola Enterprises, said: “The on-premise channel is Appletiser’s heartland and the latest part of our ‘Sparkle On’ campaign really reflects its importance to the brand.
“Appletiser is the perfect accompaniment to those social occasions where people are looking for a premium soft drink, potentially as an alternative to alcohol.
“We would urge on-premise outlets to make the most of the POS materials available to them to generate extra excitement around the brand and encourage incremental sales this autumn.”
