A NEW bar and restaurant project has been completed as part of a major new development in the west of Scotland.
The £10 million Beacon Arts Centre was built as a replacement for Greenock’s Arts Guild Theatre.
Part of the project involved the design and build of a kitchen, bar and restaurant within the building.
Carried out by Glasgow design firm New Concept, the project included the supply of all cooking, preparation and refrigeration equipment, as well as the supply of all furniture for the 140-cover restaurant.
Sandro Formisano, chairman at New Concept, said the project had taken a year to plan.
“We’ve been working hard with the team at The Beacon – this is a huge project,”said Formisano.
“We’re very fortunate to be involved, especially with such an enthusiastic group of people, and we are delighted to see the whole project come together.”
