THE Scottish Government has unveiled new training requirements for the Personal Licence Holders (PLH) qualification.
The new training spec, developed by sector skills council People 1st after a 14-month consultation with the industry, includes stricter rules on how training for the PLH qualification is delivered, a tougher assessment process, and the need for a ‘refresher course’ after five years.
Trade groups including the SLTA, SBPA and Scottish Grocers’ Federation, were on the steering group that helped develop the new requirements.
