DRINKS supplier Maxxium UK has taken over the distribution of Cooley Distillery’s Irish whiskey brands.
The deal took effect on July 2 and adds the Kilbeggan, Connemara, Tyrconnell and Greenore whiskies to the Maxxium portfolio.
It comes after Beam, which co-owns Maxxium with Edrington, completed its acquisition of Cooley Distillery in January.
Maxxium UK MD Huw Pennell said the brands complement its existing portfolio.
