GLASGOW cask ale pub The Three Judges has picked up a top cider award – for the fourth time in five years.
The west end outlet, part of the Maclay Inns stable, was named Glasgow Cider Pub of the Year 2012 by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) last month.
Crowned the SLTN Cider Bar of the Year in 2010, and highly commended in the category last year, the bar stages regular cider festivals to encourage customers to try different products from around the UK.
Manager Angela Bradley said the staff are committed to promoting and encouraging the sale of quality cider.
“It’s all down to the hard work and knowledge of our dedicated team of staff together with the support of our customers,” she said.
Alistair Boyd, Glasgow brand publicity officer for CAMRA, congratulated the business on its fourth win.
“We wish it well as it now goes forward to the Scotland and Northern Ireland title and, who knows, perhaps the Champion Cider & Perry Pub of Britain,” he said.
