The beer, which has joined the supplier’s Boutique Beers portfolio, will be available solely to on-trade outlets in 330ml bottles and draught 30ltr kegs.
The “traditionally-brewed” beer is made from Zatec hops and Moravian malt.
Kathryn Sheppard, product controller for beer at Matthew Clark, said Zatec has a “fantastic history”, with origins dating back to 1004.
“The Zatec brewery uses traditional brewing methods that are well renowned within the upper echelons of beer connoisseurs,” she said.
“Zatec will become the ‘flagship’ brand within our already successful Boutique Beers portfolio.”
The portfolio includes Leffe, Kirin Ichiban, Cruzcampo and Innis and Gunn.
